Following the success of the Collierville project, Trudy Higginbotham Moody retained Township to evaluate the conditions and issues with her existing Jackson, Mississippi store in an effort to meet new facility guidelines from Mercedes-Benz. While studying the capability to renovate the existing store and remain open, we made the recommendation that a new site would be less disruptive to her ongoing business operations and customers.
Once a site was selected, Township assembled a team of professionals to design the project, while Township handled the rezoning of the property and conditional use permit approval. We also worked with consultants to procure $3.3M in public assistance for the project through tax increment financing. (TIF)
The new $15M, 60,000 square foot dealership on its 10 acre site should be open in the fall of 2017.
